HI THERE, I’M TRACY!

As an athlete focused individual, I am addicted to moving in all different ways. From my experiences with participating and coaching sport, I have seen the positive impact of movement on a multitude of populations. I love to help break down barriers to movement & support patients becoming their healthiest selves. The ex-gymnast in me has a critical eye for technique and awareness of optimal movement patterns. With that said, I have a curious & open mind to a multitude of treatment approaches. I hope to provide a nonjudgmental, inclusive environment where you leave every appointment with a better understanding of what is going on, and how to implement changes to get to where you want to go. We will problem-solve together, so we can get you feeling great, doing the things you love.

Virtual PHYSIOTHERAPY

Sometimes seeing a physiotherapist in person isn't always realistic. Virtual Physiotherapy is great for those wanting a pro-active approach to rehab. If you are looking for a one-on-one exercise session, are hoping for help managing an injury, or are hoping for a full exercise plan, a virtual appointment will be right for you. Online appointments are similar to in person appointments, minus the manual therapy. We perform a subjective (talking) and objective (movement) assessment to determine what type of injury you are dealing with. We then provide education and work through exercises to help you reach your goals, all in the comfort of your own home!

  • Strength & Conditioning programs help bridge the gap between physiotherapy and fitness goals. Having a Physiotherapist guide your training plan can help you navigate your injuries or imbalances while ensuring you are reaching your health and fitness goals. Whether you are coming back from injury, or just need some guidance to get started, I offer monthly exercise programming that is individualized to help you reach your exercise goals.

    After your programming appointment you will receive access “Trainerize” which has exercise videos and helps you schedule what exercises to do each day. It tracks your progress and includes messaging with Tracy to ensure that you are feeling good or to allow modifications to be made as necessary.

Foundations by Tracy online classes

Foundations by Tracy is a membership platform offering on-demand exercise videos that your physiotherapist would be proud of. The classes are designed to build a healthy foundation from the inside out using a Clinical Pilates framework with a Strength & Conditioning twist.

After experiencing such relief from incorporating Clinical Pilates into my movement routine, I built a series of online classes to help address major pain points in the body. You can complete them on demand, at any time from the comfort of your home.

For in person visits, you can catch me at COAST’s beautiful Kitsilano location. I have experience working with all walks of life, including new moms, elite level athletes, patients with neurological conditions, and everything in between.

In my physical therapy sessions, you can expect a detailed assessment, education regarding the findings, and a well-rounded treatment plan. Your treatment might include a combination of manual therapy, modalities, a variety of exercises as well as education regarding load management and every day planning. I ensure that you progress on days that you aren’t in the clinic as much as days that you are in.
